KOLLYWOOD:Sivakarthikeyan,keerthi suresh ‘Sirikkadhey’ Promotional video song from Remo Movie Released Today 6pm

Sirikkadhey Promotional song: Remo is the latest 2016 upcoming Kollywood romantic comedy movie written and directed by Bhagyaraj Kannan and produced by RD Raja under 24 AM Studios. Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh playing the main lead roles in this movie . The female nurse getup of Sivakarthikeyan in this flick had helped the film to generate great hype and anticipation level.

The film is getting ready to hit the screens on October 7 this year at the time of Dussehra holidays celebrations. Today the second song from Sivakarthikeyan’s Remo movie released Today at 6pm. The song titled “Sirikkadhey” directly unveiled online on Sony Music YouTube channel, which holds the audio rights of the movie.

Anirudh is one of the most popular and sought after music directors in Kollywood and everyone is really waiting for yet another magic from him.

Vignesh Sivan had written the lyrics for this promotional video and Swaroop Philip is the DOP of the music video. The English version of the music video will be released through Mtv channel one week later. Sathish, KS Ravikumar, Saranya Ponvannan, Rajendran, Yogi Babu, Kalyani Natarajan and others are in film cast. It has PC Sreeram’s cinematography and Ruben’s editing.

The film is slated to release on October 7th. The Kerala distribution of this movie will be done by Thameens productions, who are one of the popular movie distribution and production banners in South India.

Divya Unni, the actress-dancer is all set to make a comeback into movies, post her divorce. In a recent interview, Divya opened up about the comeback and success of her contemporary, Manju Warrier. She remarked that she was the happiest person to know about Manju's comeback into the movie industry. Divya Unni is also glad that the talented actress is also concentrating on her dance and theatre careers. Both Manju Warrier and Divya Unni started their careers as leading ladies in 1996. The actresses have shared the screen in the 1998-released movie Pranayavarnangal, directed by Sibi Malayil.
They retired from the films at almost the same time and settled as homemakers. Now, both the actresses have legally separated from their respective spouses and are concentrating on their careers. Divya, who is planning to re-enter the film industry, says that she wants to do a film like Kamaladalam, which is purely based on dance. She is also planning to be active with her dance career as well. Manju Warrier, on the hand, made a successful comeback into the industry with How Old Are You. TOLLYWOOD:Bandh or not, Janatha Garage on right time! JUNIOR NTR,MOHANLAL

'Janatha Garage' is in the last leg of its shoot. There is one last song which will be shot on the 20th of August. With that done the film will complete its shoot. On the other hand, there is a talk that the film may change its release date as there is going to be Bharat Bandh on 2nd September.

But the team 'Janatha Garage' does not want any more postponements for the release date. If necessary, they may advance the movie release to September 1st. But as of now they are working to release the film on 2nd September. It will be released in Telugu and Malayalam simultaneously on the same date.

NTR has finished dubbing for this film. If everything goes as planned the final edit of the film will be ready by 25th August. NTR is hoping to give a blockbuster with this film. Also there is Malayalam movie star Mohanlal who plays a crucial role. So the weight of this movie is all the more high. Nithya Menen and Samantha are the leading women. 'Janatha Garage' is directed by Koratala Siva.

After "Vijay 60" and "Remo" which were big budget projects, Keerthi Suresh is getting ready to be the heroine of a bigwig in the industry. The actress who kick-started her career in tamil with "Ethu Enna Mayam" will now be the heroine of Surya in his next movie.

GST Bill: green light for ‘one nation, one tax’

Barring the AIADMK, which staged a walkout on the plea that it violated federalism, all others, including the Congress, voted for the Bill.

After being subject to months of haggling and histrionics, the Goods & Services Tax (GST) finally had its historic day in the Rajya Sabha with the passage of the Bill to amend the Constitution, paving the way for what is popularly referred to as the concept of “one nation, one tax.”

Barring the AIADMK, which staged a walkout on the plea that it violated federalism, all others, including the Congress, voted for the Bill.

Led by the former Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, the Congress, supported by members of some other parties, made a valiant effort to extract an assurance from Finance Minister Arun Jaitley that as and when he would introduce the subsequent legislation to operationalise the GST, it would be as finance rather than money bills. This was to ensure that they would also be voted in the Rajya Sabha.

However, Mr. Jaitley refused to yield, stating that he could not give a commitment on future legislation whose contours would be decided by the Centre and the States together.

The Rajya Sabha passed the constitutional amendment by two-thirds majority, as all parties, except the AIADMK, pledged support. The amendments moved by Mr. Jaitley were also put to vote. The Bill will now be returned to the Lok Sabha for its approval.

The constitutional amendment will enable both the Centre and the States to simultaneously levy the GST, which will subsume all indirect taxes currently levied, including excise duties and service tax. It will be levied on consumption rather than production.

Two components

The GST will have two components keeping in mind the federal structure of India: the Central GST (CGST) and the State GST (SGST).

The shift to the GST regime will lead to a uniform, seamless market across the country. It will be a uniform rate, will check evasion, and boost growth rates, Mr. Jaitley said initiating the debate.

Earlier in the day, lead speaker for the Congress, Mr. Chidambaram, made it clear that the main Opposition party will support the long-pending Bill only if the government gave firm assurances on two things: keeping the GST rate capped at 18 per cent in the subsequent legislation needed for the GST’s roll-out and bringing forth these as financial bills rather than money bills, which the Upper House will not just discuss but also vote on.
